White Tea

(white lupine flower growing in the woods behind the cabin)

Here sky and space

and atmosphere are not so far apart

sometimes we forget what we are breathing

I stretch out under bright moon reflected through window

the Bay is murky and bright gulls asleep

I wonder what the moon tastes like to the night

Mind answers, “white tea
